P1 Slot Cars specializes in 1/32 home racing slot cars and 1/32 oval racing slot cars. The perfect combination for basement racers running on wood routed tracks or plastic track with or without magnets. The store currently carries products from Scalextric, Carrera, Slot.It, Policar, H&R Racing, Quick Slicks, and Slot Car Corner. All the parts needed to tune plastic chassis 1/32 scale slot cars. Silicone tires, wheels, pinions, spurs, lighting, and stick on lead.

P1 Slot Cars is dedicated to supporting the slot car clubs that race in the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area. I’ve been an active member in the Great Lakes Slot Car Club and Score Oval Series for that past several years, and I host races regularly for both clubs. Great friends and great competition in both clubs.

Thank you for visiting and shopping at P1 Slot Cars! I really appreciate your support in launching the store and helping it grow into the future. I’ve been around slot car racing ever since I can remember. I started racing seriously when I was 16 running 1/24 commercial stamped steel cars. So, I have over 25 years of experience in the hobby. I’ve worked at two different commercial raceways and for one manufacturer over those years as well. This new business (started in August 2020) is another way for me to support the hobby by helping customers get the products they want at a fair price and in a timely manner. It is also a way for me to join my career in the IT field with my slot car hobby by creating an online store to sell these products. I’ve learned a lot about the slot car industry and the world of online commerce along the way. I look forward to the years ahead of serving customers, growing the business, and learning more and more about both industries.
